Research
The main thrust of the Centre's research activities includes; private sector development, public and private dialogue, policy advocacy and facilitation of reforms in business environment at local and national levels. The Centre intends to streamline and customize its research activities to feed into PPDs and policy decision-making processes. By collaborating with policy makers, private sector organizations and other relevant actors in PPDs, CPRA is expected to increase the university-industry linkage and facilitate the development of evidence-based policies and reforms.

Training and capacity building interventions
CPRA offers the capacity building programs covering a number of areas such as advocacy and institutional competencies for PSOs, research for advocacy, capacity building for Business Development Service Providers (BDPs), Mentoring and Coaching of PSOs, capacity building for academia through the Higher Learning Institutions Network (HI-LINE) as well as capacity building for policy makers. Our capacity building programs are practical in nature facilitating participants to learn by doing and participate in actual PPD engagements.

Dissemination of information and knowledge management
The Centre pioneers dissemination of dialogue and policy information to different stakeholders nationally and internationally by contributing to academic and professional journals, policy briefs, newsletters, conferences etc. The research findings generated by our researchers are translated and compiled in a simple language, and ultimately shared with various actors in the policy-making processes. In the long run, the Centre will set up the information portal, which will be used as a tool for linking CPRA with the general public. And act a repository for all relevant information and data on dialogue and policy advocacy.

Education
The Centre is active in the development of curriculum, training and facilitation of training for various trainers in the higher education for both postgraduate and undergraduate students. CPRA also supports knowledge exchange and networking in Higher Learning Institutions through the HI-LINE and supporting student clubs and forums.
